Michi Online is a gathering place for everyone
interested in the cultural arts of Japan. It is both
an electronic journal and a collection of online
resources for the Japanese arts community.

The 2007 Shudokan Martial Arts Association Seminar &
Conference will take place on July 20, 21, and 22 in
Omaha, Nebraska. The theme is Weaponry in Japanese
Martial Arts, and the instructors will be Dave
Lowry, Nicklaus Suino, and H. E. Davey. Testing for rank
in different SMAA divisions will also be offered, as will
classes in Japanese yoga and meditation. See the
2007 SMAA Seminar & Conference website for more
information.
Dave Lowry will present Bokken—An Introduction
to the Japanese Sword. Nicklaus Suino will teach Muso
Jikiden Eishin Ryu swordsmanship. H. E. Davey will offer
instruction in unarmed Saigo Ryu aiki-jujutsu and related
weapon systems. He will also teach Japanese yoga and
present a special Japanese yoga and martial arts class
for children. The event is open to both SMAA members and
the general public.
