Reiki
Reiki is a laying-on of hands method claimed to be thousands of years old. Purportedly, it originated as a Tibetan Buddhist practice that was rediscovered in the late 1800's by Usui Mikao, a Japanese Buddhist. It is a healing art that can be used on one’s self as well as others.
Reiki functions through transference of Ki (“Life Energy”).
