Zen
Zen is a school of Buddhism that was founded in the sixth century in India. Its founder is generally considered to be a monk named Bodhidharma (Daruma in Japanese). Zen's emphasis on being free from cerebral questioning and attainment of a state of oneness with the universe influenced the entire Japanese cultural matrix.
